What an amazing project! A beautiful 24x24 addition to the Strickland home is now complete! Large master bedroom with double doors opening onto a new screened porch overlooking Stephen's backyard! A great master bath with tile floors, and tiled oversized shower. This addition has and will make life for Caroline and Stephen much easier as he recovers. The outpouring of love and acts of kindness have been amazing. Many of these suppliers do not know Stephen! Please take the time to patronize these folks or THANK them for their generousity! |

We went by Monday to get some pictures expecting to get some "before"
pictures...boy were we surprised! As you can see they didn't waste any time with this project! Walls are up, vinyl siding, windows & porch. On the inside-it was roughed in with wiring and plumbing the guys were still there (around 6) putting insulation in. The next step looked like sheet rock. It was amazing! I looked around for Ty Pennington but didn't see him anywhere. Life will be easier for both Caroline and Stephen when this is finished and his home is more accessible to him! THANKS AGAIN to everyone who continues to support the Strickland family.
We are excited about the Renovation and Addition that will be taking place at Stephen and Caroline’s home! Plans are under way for a 24 x 24 bedroom/bath addition with a 18 x 12 screened porch. The porch will adjoin an existing deck so Stephen will be right at home where all the action is – bug free! Howell Edwards/Quest Development Company is coordinating this effort and is happy to say that most of the materials AND labor have been donated – a few areas still need to be filled: Brick, block, septic tank, sand and fill dirt, plumbing materials and labor, tile installation, landscaping and screen materials for porch. If you know of anyone willing to help with this effort, please email or call! Another way to help is to pack a cooler with plenty of water, canned drinks for this crowd. Ham biscuits, Sandwiches, Cookies – it is all appreciated!
